WONDERFUL STUDENT WORK - HEAVEN AND EARTH

Absolutely wonderful work in progress by one of my students on my Rocks, Clouds and aether courses, I’m so proud and impressed – starting as a mere wisp, rolling clouds spring forth from the Mughal prince’s delicate finger and wrap around his shoulder, turning into solid rock formations. The clouds that emanate from his finger (or from his imagination?) turn into the rocks that simultaneously protect and shield him. Swipe to see the work in progress.

It’s a beautiful work that combines those 3 elements (Earth – rocks; Air – clouds; Ether – spirit, and in that course we also cover angels and divs ie figures and faces). Heaven and earth meet, and humans are in the middle. This piece is full of meaning and layers. Excited to see it through to completion!
