Movement is life. Circus uses the body in perhaps the most unusual of ways so it’s a good chance to study the circus art forms from all traditions (previously we have only focused on circus in Levni and Indian art). Circus was notoriously difficult to document. We will delve into the history of circus arts and street performers and use old circus posters and illustrations as inspiration.
