We are 2 brothers making scrolls and movies while learning about the world and sharing all this via online Zoom sessions. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Children and adults who are children at heart are all invited to join us. We are children teaching and sharing with you! Having done this for about a year now we realise that children really live in the moment and that pot luck spontaneity is the name of the game. So... each show will be a surprise! They just pick what they want to learn about on the day and we roll with it. Nothing is ever repeated in exactly the same way although learning is a spiral staircase (going upwards!) and as children we are excited about seeing connections in everything. Each session takes a particular topic and expands on it in detail. We activate our learning by making something related to the topic and recording it in our handmade horizontal handscroll, which is also a long timeline of the universe and is filmic in its extreme landscape form. On our scrolls we might draw, paint, cut and stick things and we might even do 3D stuff as well. We’ll use things around the house and this will evolve organically, and if there is something special we will tell you in class in advance of the next session. The plan for each session, presented by Caspian and Kashi and facilitated by Mama: First in English followed by a bit in Chinese - the kids present and shares what they are learning, they make something for you to follow along and record it in their scrolls (or you can just watch).
