Service Description

A mandala class. Painted, coloured with sand, even embroidered, we will make simple and intricate mandals with different materials that can be kept as loose paintings to contemplate or made into a book (or indeed swept away, although there is an order and ritualistic way in which this happens traditionally). You can use extant or historic mandalas as inspiration or entirely create your own. This class can be paired with the upcoming Yantra class in which we explore both the painted realities - as well as the materialities - of these images and objects.
