Early autumn sees the grandeur of the stoic cypress. This is a deceptively simple tree that is such an iconic feature of Persian painting that it's worth exploring in depth. We focus on a series of trees designed to explore the breadth and depth of trees in Indo-Persian and manuscript painting.
